| Most "celebrities"--or at least those that consider themselves "famous" because they have a handful of fans--tend to be pompous, arrogant douchbags that think everyone should kiss the ground they walk on just because they did something that a few others thought was kind of cool. Don't know if that had anything to do with it, but that's my thought on the matter.  |

I never noticed the Myspace thing, but they sound like jerks.
And now it's time for...
FoxKin's Rant Corner:
I took a quick look-see through Kyetsu's Myspace friends, and noticed a few people with friends totaling in the thousands...and that Ian Walsh guy with over 21,000 "friends". 
Then I checked out the profiles (the public ones, anyway) of those that were showing pictures of album covers/people playing instruments/other stuff that might qualify them as "famous"...with friends in the hundreds. I think one person had only 500 and something people listed.
If those are the people acting like "stuck-up jackasses", then they need to check themselves real hard, especially since they're most likely accepting anyone that randomly sends a friend request, assuming that they're a fan.  I had a Myspace back in the day (it no longer exists, so don't ask), and I got at least 20 requests a day from either companies promoting themselves or random people I've never seen before in my life (online or off) that want to look popular online as a form of ego boost.
If they want to keep the pidly amount of actual fans they have, they need to treat said fans with respect. Why do you think we all come back here and love talking with Kyetsu so much? Because she respects us, and listens to what we say. She's even an active member in our random conversations, a rarity for anyone famous, big or small time.
Of course, none of those "jackasses" are going to listen to this rant, but I feel better getting that out of my system. |
