So true. People assume that furries, or even anyone that uses anything related to animals online are:

People that should be attacked for no other reason than being furry.
And you don't even have to be a furry to be treated like this! I'm not a furry (no "fursona"), but since I often use fox avatars and/or put "fox" or "kitsune" in my online handles, I'm often attacked as a furry.
I wonder if Kyetsu gets that as well?

Most people are inherently stupid, and feel a need to attack anyone different from them. If they have a group of people attacking these "different" folks, then it validates their belief that they are actually awesome, and should be respected among said group.
Now that people have the brain function to access the internet, this makes it much easier for such douchepods to get their little ego boost. Not only is it easier for them to find groups of people to taunt/attack, it's also easier to find other people that don't like those groups. Add on the anonymous factor, and they get a feeling that they can do whatever they want to whoever they want without emotional consequences, since they're not dealing with "real people", just names on the internet.
BTW, I have given up on society as a whole a long time ago.

I don't know much of anything about furries, but I can see how if someone else heard that about them before actually meeting someone from that group, they might think it's okay to treat them that way.
And I wonder too if Kyetsu gets tanted/attacked for being a furry?
